One part Breakout, one part Asteroids, two parts neon. This game is an awesome retro combo of Asteroids and Arkanoid, if you like either then definitely buy breakeroids immediately.
I am a big fan of brick breakers and have played dozens of them, and I consider breakeroids to be among the very best, a solid brick breaker with endless levels, lots of moving asteroids, shooting aliens, explosions, powerups, and excellent controls with good challenge.
Anyone who's looking for a new and unique brick breaker with great gameplay should definitely give breakeroids a try. I'm also a fan of Asteroids, and the combo here is super fun. It's also nice that we can play our own iPod music. Thanks a lot for adding universal HD iPad support too, now the game is just about perfect!
I do have 2 small suggestions that would make breakeroids even cooler: First : Give us a new powerup that adds a temporary gun to our paddle so we can shoot and destroy asteroids (this would tie it into Asteroids better and make it even funner). Second : Add an option to turn off the minimalist Asteroids ingame music (but keep on the sound effects), so it doesn't play over and compete with the iPod music.
