Wobbles is a 2D side-scrolling puzzle game where you must assist your Wobbles in advancing their civilization through the ages. Place platforms and gadgets to navigate your Wobbles around obstacles in their way.
TheWobbles iPhone app has been downloaded more than 10,000 times. It is the first game commercially produced by Becker students in the program, and is available in the Apple Store for $1.99 for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, as well as Android devices.
Wobbles is a colorful two-dimensional puzzle game where the game player drags platforms and gadgets to help the Wobbles circumvent a series of obstacles to safely walk across the screen.
Through 60 levels distributed among six eras, characters being their journey through evolution in the caveman era, where they have bushy unibrows and an orange and black loincloth, all the way to the future, where they don space suits and have their noses bent up against the glass of their helmets.
Each era includes a new component that can be used to keep the Wobbles, well, wobbling through their environments. The most basic being a fire, which placed in the way of the Wobbles makes them leap over obstacles with pixels of grey smoke on their backsides. Later on, aquifers give them a soft landing, battery packs close gaps in their paths, and a floating green disc flips the pull of gravity.
A level can take less than a minute to complete, and it is considered a casual game, similar to Angry Birds. The game has a simple story line that users can pick up and play at any time.
